In this course students will learn a variety of techniques to create their own jewelry. Using methods like bead stringing, crimping, and fastening, students will create one of kind earrings, necklaces, key chains, rings and bracelets.
Students will be guided in color theory, pattern choices, as well as look at repurposing old jewelry into new creations. Expect to learn the origins of the beads we are using, differences between metal findings, and appropriate use of tools and materials we engage with.
This course is great for children who want to make wearable art for themselves or a gift.

Location: This is an in-person class taking place at the new BAC campus located in Santa Monica at
1625 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica, CA. LINK TO MAP
Transportation and Parking: Centrally located for easy access from all over Los Angeles County, BAC is only a 5-minute walk from the E Line (Expo) Metro Rail station exit off of 17th/SMC. The Center has a small parking lot located right in front of the buildings entrance. If parking is unavailable in the lot there is 2, 3 and 9-hour metered street parking in the area.
