Join expert artist, Gary Paller, for this special one-night only opportunity to learn to paint a landscape in the style of David Hockney. Workshop focuses on the artist’s unique use of bright color, surrealist shapes, and bold compositions in his landscape paintings. Students will aim to create works that utilize color, a sense of movement, and gestural brushstrokes in Hockney’s 1960s British Pop Art manner. Using acrylic paints of vibrant, saturated color, we'll explore themes of nature to create unique landscapes that move from representation to abstraction.
