Instructor: Lorna Herf
In this introductory course, students create fine silver jewelry using metal clay. We will explore techniques of forming, firing with a torch or in a kiln, and learning how to finish our creations. Using our hands, rubber stamps, molds, shaping tools, and cutters, we will make beautiful designs with precious metals. Class projects will include earrings, pendants, and small charms. Beginners welcome: no metalworking experience is needed.
