1-Day Workshop: Portraiture Drawing 101 (In-Person)

Wednesday, January 15th
10:00AM - 4:00PM
$200.00

Instructor: Jill Douglas

In this 6-hour workshop, Jill explains the fundamentals of portrait drawing. Learn to demystify the process by building on established average proportions such as the rule of thirds.

Beginning with diagrammatic drawings, students first build the shape of the head, then the face, to the planes of the face, and finally the features. Students then move on to drawing a realistic portrait, learning how to achieve a likeness from their sitter or photograph.

All levels of expertise are welcome.
