Composition is everything!
Learn the key elements and how to crop your image or photo to create a more interesting drawing or painting. Cropping into, simplifying and considering the essential elements of what creates a pleasing and dynamic composition will be demonstrated and discussed.
Color harmony is an important element along with contrast, focal point and the direction on which you lead the viewer. These exercises will be demonstrated in pencil and brush and paint.
Students are welcome to participate or they may prefer to just observe and take notes.
All levels of expertise are welcome.
Supply List:
Pencil, eraser and sketch paper
Painting or dry medium of your choice for color
