Instructor: Jill Douglas
The Master Course series continues with four individual workshops, each one focusing on a different artist. Each of these painters were to create a technique and style in their work that went on to become the inspiration for so many artists later.
The four artists featured are Ferdinand Puigaudeau, Claude Monet, Georges Michel and Claude Lorrain. Students will learn about the painters’ individual and distinct styles. Their brushwork, composition and palette will be discussed and demonstrated.
There is so much to be learned from copying a painting, and Jill will be demonstrating throughout the class. Students are also welcome to bring a different image of the assigned artist to class to work on.
All levels of experience are welcome.
