Printmaking for Kids: Ages 9-12 (In-Person)

Explore the wonder of Printmaking. This unique art form lends itself to making multiples and always brings a sense of anticipation as a print is pulled.

In this class, students will explore a range of printmaking methods: monoprinting, collagraphs, carved block prints and sun printing. You will be introduced to famous printmakers and learn how to expand on each new technique.

Supplies and Materials are provided.

 

Location: This is an in-person class taking place at the new BAC campus located in Santa Monica at

1625 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica, CA. LINK TO MAP

Transportation and Parking: Centrally located for easy access from all over Los Angeles County, BAC is only a 5-minute walk from the E Line (Expo) Metro Rail station exit off of 17th/SMC. The Center has a small parking lot located right in front of the buildings entrance. If parking is unavailable in the lot there is 2, 3 and 9-hour metered street parking in the area.
