Practice makes perfect! Strengthen your ability to draw or paint the human form while working from the live nude model. This uninstructed life drawing/painting workshop features a mix of short poses, to be set by a proctor. Students work independently (without guidance of an instructor) and are welcome to bring their favorite drawing or painting media.

(NOTE: oil-based media that require solvents are not permitted at BAC).

Prerequisite: Previous life drawing experience

No Supply List: Students are welcome to use materials of their choice. Review our Painting Studio Policy at this link for approved materials

Location: This is an in-person class taking place at the new BAC campus located in Santa Monica at

1625 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica, CA. LINK TO MAP.

Transportation and Parking: Centrally located for easy access from all over Los Angeles County, BAC is only a 5-minute walk from the E Line (Expo) Metro Rail station exit off of 17th/SMC. The Center has a small parking lot located right in front of the buildings entrance. If parking is unavailable in the lot there is 2, 3 and 9-hour metered street parking in the area.
