In this short course, students will create an original art piece inspired by origami and known as a “puzzle purse." Dating back to the late 1700s, puzzle purses were works of art created and given as love notes, gifts, or valentines.
Over the course of this class, students will create an intricately folded modern puzzle purse that can be given as a gift for the holidays. Students will learn how to construct, draw, and paint their puzzle purse, choosing their own imagery, ending up with an interactive masterpiece!
