The Master Course series continues with five individual workshops, each one focusing on a different artist. Each of these painters were to create a technique and style in their work that went on to become the inspiration for so many artists later.
The five artists featured are Tatyana Yablonskaya, Leoplold Pascal, Carlos San Milan and John Singer Sargent and Carl Holsoe. Students will learn about the painters individual and distinct styles. Their brushwork, composition and palette will be discussed and demonstrated.
There is so much to be learned from copying a painting and Jill will be demonstrating throughout the class. Students are also welcome to bring a different image of the assigned artist to class to work on.
All levels of experience are welcome.
Mediums: May include Oils, acrylics, gouache or water colour paints. Oil or chalk pastels, coloured pencils or any preferred medium.
