Pastel Drawing (In-Person)

6 Thursdays
9:30AM - 12:30PM
$480.00

Instructor: Alexandra Cabri

In this class, students explore the beautiful and rich medium of pastel drawing. Students strengthen their drawing skills while learning about what types of pastels to use, what kinds of surfaces work best, and how to blend the pigment to create the best possible results.

Students begin by creating gradients and values, then move into more complex techniques such as how to glaze, mix, and cover. This course is structured so that each lesson builds on the previous. Students create two to three finished works during the course.
